Russian politicians have stirred the pot of Balkans politics by proposing a partition of Kosovo. This would see transfers of land between Kosovo and Serbia in the interests of regional stability, according to the Russians. But others believe such a move is a ploy to deliberately undermine regional stability and Kosovo’s ties to the West and the European Union.
