Ignacy Morawski is director of public policy research at the WISE Europe, a private think-tank in Warsaw.
Previously, he worked in the banking sector as a macroeconomist. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 he was among the top macroeconomic forecasters in rankings organized by the National Bank of Poland. He began his career as a financial journalist and still takes part in public debate on key economic issues.
His interests focus on macroeconomics, public policy and political economics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and another in Political Sciences from the University of Warsaw.
